Our Journey

Intro Section BG.jpg

The inspiration for Think & Bloom took root during more than 15 years of daily classroom experience, where the need for stronger executive function skills among students of all backgrounds became impossible to ignore. Guided by a deep commitment to equity, I have worked side by side with learners facing ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, and a wide range of abilities. Each day has brought new insight into how organizational skills, emotional regulation, and planning empower students far beyond the classroom. This firsthand perspective shaped my belief that practical, empathetic support is vital for lasting progress. Think & Bloom was created to meet this need, equipping every student with tools to foster resilience, independence, and lifelong confidence. I continue to see remarkable growth as students adopt these strategies, which motivates my ongoing devotion to crafting accessible resources and nurturing every student's path toward blooming - each at their own pace and in their own way.

Founder, Educator

Akiba Hunter-Prince

I started my business Think & Bloom after observing the need for executive function skills in the lives of students. As an educator I have had firsthand experience working with students of varying levels. I work with a number of students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia and various learning disabilities.

With more than 15 years as an educator, I have discovered that all students are in need of executive function skills. These are life skills that everyone uses everyday no matter where you are or what you're doing, young or old. These skills are pertinent to success in school, at home and beyond.

I am passionate about helping all students succeed! As i work with students daily I continue to see the need for strengthening executive function skills.

Whether you have a student that has difficulty organizing their belongings, preparing for exams, focusing while completing work, or something else, I provide strategies, tips and tools for "all around" success!
